Brother Michael A. Cook of The Mighty Clouds of Joy of Los Angeles, California departed his life suddenly in Glen Burnie, Maryland on Friday, July 19th 2008. Michael formerly of Nathalie, Virginia is survived by his wife Valerie Gaither Cook and three children, Ashley, Michael Jr. and Corry Cook, his father Thomas Junior Cook of East Orange, New Jersey and one brother Thomas Lee Cook and wife Debra of Lynchburg, Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends.
A musical tribute of Mike’s life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2008 from 5 to 9pm at the Living Waters Worship Center, 8262 Lokus Road, Odenton, Maryland. There will be a various groups performing at the service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th at Reid Temple AME Church 11400 Glenn Dale Boulevard, Glenn Dale,Maryland. Viewing of the body will be from 9am-11am and funeral service will begin at 11am.
